I’m not exactly sure about the situations the nurses undergo, but I do know that they help a great deal and this kind of service can’t be bought. They need to be supported not only by fair trading and income but in respect aswell.
The polititions should stop giving themself pay rises. As i work in helth care i know. i had to half my salary when i came into the health system as i worked at the RTA before. The health system is a big mess!!
nurses deserve a lot more tahn they are getting.. let’s not forget that our lives and health are in their hands!!!
i agree that nurses are under payed and over worked. i spent two days in hospital 2 weeks ago and the nurses were always run off their feet. i praise them for the work they are doing and its about time that they get wat they are entitled to, better pay and better working conditions. so please everyone show your support for our nurses and show them that we do appreciate wat they do for australia.
My concern is that if we don’t start looking after all our hospital medical & allied health staff especially our nurses we arn’t going have to worry about them leaving, Instead we will have to watch them become disabled &/or die of diseases caused by high stress & overwork & awfull conditions. It’s already happened to some but if we don’t do some thing fast we are looking down the barrel of an epidemic.
After a recent experience with the hospital system during which my son was looked after brilliantly I can say the treatment we recieve in our public hospital system is still excellent but ONLY because of the dedication of the staff. The treatment they give is first world but the conditions they work in and the equipment they have to work with is far from it.
Having just been in hospital, I can only say what a fantastic job these very special people do. They should be supported in every way possible.
To all the nurses out there that have ever taken care of anyone, Australia Loves you.
My cousin is a nurse and she works so damn hard. The federal government should take over the states health system and ensure all nurses have the best conditions and pay where ever they go in this country. I beleive the nurses do most of the work, in some cases more work than doctors and should be paid double what they get now.
Lets look after them. We will all need them at some stage.
Please pay our nurses correctly and give them the support that they give us in our time of need.
